ProDental CPD is the UK's largest independent provider of online dental Continuing Professional Development (CPD), dedicated to delivering exceptional learning experiences. Renowned for adhering to industry-led standards in e-learning, ProDental has earned multiple awards for design and innovation.

Recognising that their existing platform had not evolved in line with technological advances and company growth, ProDental sought our expertise for a complete system overhaul. Our task was to build a bespoke, future-proof platform that would enhance user experience, streamline processes, and support the company's expansion into new markets. The system needed to manage an increasing number of users, ensuring it remained efficient as the platform's popularity grew.

Bespoke System Development

The new ProDental CPD system provides each user with a personalised account, enabling them to securely purchase, access, and manage courses tailored to their professional needs. The platform offers various membership levels to cater to different user groups:

• Individual Subscription: Provides unlimited e-learning CPD for all dental professionals.
• Practice Subscription: Designed for dental practices with five or more members, offering comprehensive access to courses relevant to their registered professions.
• Corporate Subscription: Tailored for dental corporates with 50 or more employees, with pricing available upon request.
• Free Access: Allows individual dental professionals to access free live webinars, with the option to purchase CPD as needed.

Video Production

To support the delivery of real-time educational content, the system is integrated with a video platform, enabling seamless hosting of live webinars. This integration ensures that users can easily access live sessions as part of their professional development, enhancing the overall learning experience.

This tiered membership structure ensures that each user group receives content and resources pertinent to their specific roles and requirements. The platform's flexibility allows it to evolve alongside ProDental's growth, adapting to the company's expanding services and markets.

As a result of our comprehensive redevelopment, user engagement increased significantly, with a 34% rise in the number of pages viewed per session compared to the previous platform. This improvement contributed to the growth of ProDental's customer base, including partnerships with prominent organisations like the British Orthodontic Society.
